about Manhattan love song

Manhattan Love Song was created in May of 2007. It's purpose was to serve as a web portfolio for colleges which displayed Ocean works of art and ability to web design and code.

As time progressed, however, the site began to take on more rolls such as blogging and teaching others through tutorials. The site expanded and became more fun to visit as Ocean added to it little by little.

history

Ocean began web designing and programming since she was 10! Her love for web designing started at AOL's Homepage™ (Hometown is no longer active). As she discovered other websites that were more aesthetically pleasing and organized, she became motivated to work towards similar looks for her own site.

She got herself a freewebs account and began to blog off of pre-made layouts from Fake Wings, Komet Tails Designs, and Aethereality. She was never satisfied with the premade layouts though - she wanted something that was unique; her own.

Ocean then began experimenting with Photoshop. She taught herself how to use the program through various tutorials online, and little by little her knowledge expaned.

Ocean had many attempts to create websites, but none of them lasted. She was either not satisfied with the layout she created or she was no longer interested in where the website was going.
This is actually the first site that is fully functional and followed though!
