so many words left unspoken
left my heart torn and broken

my love for you is pure and true
unlike anything man has ever knew

despite all my failed attempts in the past
I've now taken a step forward at last

no matter what results this might bring
I know I am doing the right thing

chances you receiving this are very low
perhaps my feelings for thee you'd never know

although this was a useless attempt
at least my soul is now content

I've ripped away those feelings of you from me
